Dangerous Coconuts!
We always practice and promote licensed, skilled, and safe tree care. Often trying to discourage clients from removal of a tree that is healthy and should not be removed. Ultimately it is the clients choice. Tree removal is always the last option and should only be done if advice is given by a skilled and certified arborist. Many factors (cavities, rot, disease, etc.) can alert an arborist to the fact that a tree needs removal , usually safety of people and property is the main reason.
There were many reasons for this removal; stress cracks on the trunk, a bad lean which made pruning very difficult and dangerous, and the threat of the tree breaking on the roof of The Eye Center building.

I can always tell the difference between professional tree work and that which is done by non-professionals. An ounce of prevention is worth a lot. It is nice to see a professional company genuinly care about the health, beauty and saftey of Hawaii’s trees.
