Trimming cocos with bands-spikeless coco/palm care!
We always advocate for spikeless tree care. There are times when the client does not want to pay a little extra for spikeless coco/palm care , but usually we push for spikeless tree work. We always try and use the Swiss climbing bands-Swiss bicycles- Hoops or whatever you want to call them , or our bucket lift. The difference between the bicycles and the spikes are that with the bicycles we trim without any damage to the palm. The spikes puncture the tree with every step which disfigures the palm-tree and also creates a wound which becomes an entry point for pathogens. Spikeless palm care is another level of tree care that shows the ability, education, and professionalism of the company doing the work.
